Graffiti removal in winter?
I just returned from leaving for the holidays to find the awesome gift of a 15′ tag on my building. I was gone all of one day… WTF! The building is stucco and I know how to take care of it in the warmer months, but I’m a little lost on what to do now….

The building is stucco and I know how to take care of it in the warmer months, but I’m a little lost on what to do now. Can it be pressure or steam washed in the cold? Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do or who to hire? Thanks in advance!

Home Depot sells a graffiti remover that works pretty well.
Call 311. The City used to offer (not sure if they still do) free graffiti removal. Ever seen those “anti-graffiti nyc” vans? They drive around and clean up graffiti from buildings when people ask for it. It’s free. The night Obama was elected some nimrod wrote some racist graffiti on the bldg I live in and I called the police to report it. They turned me on to the 311 program. Didn’t wind up using it though since the other bldg occupant had a can of graffiti remover that wiped it right off. But, call 311 and see if they can help you. Good luck.
