Extraordinary Expedition
I am (still, unbelievably) in the process of converting a commercial space into a one family house in Williamsburg. I hired an expeditor at my architect’s recommendation last year, still don’t have a CO, and just received a bill for 8k! Surely, this is outrageously high? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Maybe maybe not. Did you have any agreement or estimate? Is this the total bill?
Spend a day at the DOB trying to get something done to get some perspective.
Who was the expediter?
Very hard to comment without much more info. I would hope you had proposals and contracts that outlined the costs at least…
