Hi all,

Anyone recommend somewhere close to South Slope for clothing donations I need to make this weekend?

Not seeing anything in archives. Would like to avoid Sally Army on Atlantic, but perhaps better than not donating at all. Thanks,

  1. Freecycle NYC is always a good bet, too. It’s a Yahoo group, you can search the googles for it.

  2. Thanks guys,
CHIPS only collects during week but donation bins at Lowes worked nicely.

  3. C.H.I.P.S. soup kitchen/homeless shelter at 200 4th Avenue between Sackett and Degraw accepts all clothing donations. They are in dire need – it will be greatly appreciated. You can call them at 718-237-2962.

  4. Try St. Mary’s church in Clinton Hill. St. Marys Episcopal Church 230 Classon Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11205 … St. Mary’s Episcopal Church’s Salvage Bureau collects used clothing and linens year round… and they have a pick up service.
