We have had our main renovation permit for a few weeks now but the GC cannot proceed because his plumber hasn’t pulled the plumbing permit yet. As the owner I believe I could bring the stamped paperwork from the licensed plumber to the DOB myself and pull the permit. How much time could I expect to wait and what is the proceedure? Thanks!

  1. Hello, you can certainly get the plumber’s permit for him, but you need his signed/sealed “work permit application” and “cost affidavit”. You will not get far without those two documents. If you need any assistance, our fee for permits is $100 flat fee. We’d be happy to help coordinate this for you and get the permit issued ASAP.
