Three balconies and not one big enough for a chair
But the balconies aren’t nearly deep enough for the occupants to gaze up in admiration of the severed heads on the tiles at top! Thankfully, those balconies look securely anchored into the kitchen tile gracing the facade. I think a crowning touch would be a telescope (or astrolabe!) mounted into the circular opening in the pediment. No corner left uncut here, folks.
CMM, I’m sorry to hear that you have to look at this mess.
Anyone know whose heads those are on the facade?
I live across the street and I get a good laugh every time I walk out the door and see this ridiculous thing.
I was thinking neo-mediterranean gothic myself. Are these terracotta tiles up on on top? They look like fireplace decorative covers.
I’m reminded of Edvard Munch’s “The Scream,” with the tiles being the hands clasped to the shrieking face.
The neighbors must be thrilled.
Craptacular. Love the “Italianate” fresco additions at the top.
Who’s the target buyer here????
