The 95-unit big boy that’s been in the works on 4th Avenue between Douglass and Butler for a couple years now sure looks to be getting ready for take-off: Last week its developers filed a permit for a sales office. More importantly, though, the building has been branded: 150 4th Avenue is henceforth to be known as “Arias Park Slope,” according to a website and Facebook page. The website says prices are starting at $295,000 but it also says it will have luxury rentals. So, unclear which way the wind’s blowing on this one.

  1. Cgar- I think it’s nice looking too- certainly we’ve seen worse. I like how they coordinated the brick to the bracketing brownstones on either side too.(at least it appears the way in the photo.

  2. “Heretofore” means “until the present”. You mean this building will “henceforth” (“going forward”) be known as Arias Park Slope. It has heretofore looked ugly and will henceforth be ugly.
