Development Watch: 499 Vanderbilt Avenue

this place might be an improvement for this stretch of fulton, but that doesn’t really bode well for the condo itself. it doesn’t seem like a good location at all. traffic is so awful around here, and you’ve got a gas station on one side and that giant whatever-it-is building with the disused parking lot across the street. setting that aside, i watched them build this and i would never ever recommend that someone buy here.
Its not a great corner, but close to transit and certainly a much better location than many of the new condos build in the Clinton Hill-Pospect Heights area over the last few years. Lets hope they do well, it could be a good boost for that stretch of Fulton.
Gas station next door is sort of a bummer, but they’re nice.
