75-clinton-rendering.jpg Now that it’s finally underway, the conversion of 75 Clinton Street in Brooklyn Heights is moving along quickly. Although the project took two and a half years to get off the ground, after two months of construction, the old office building facade is no more; also they are not adding the extra six floors that were approved back in 2007. An article this morning in the Brooklyn Eagle provided the rendering and offers more background: “The new façade will have a European terra cotta cladding in a variety of textures and colors (‘more of a light brown to orange’) and balconies have been added on all three sides.” Once finished, it will be a mix of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedrooms.
