My neighborhood in Astoria, which is the little pocket that sits at the border of Woodside and Sunnyside along Northern Boulevard, has recently enjoyed a staccato rhythm somewhat different than the usual ones. Under normal circumstance, it’s car stereos and home improvement contractors supplying the beat, while lately it’s been an MTA construction project found…
We are so unhappy about this! We had many ,many ,enojoyable dinners and SPECIAL party's there. Food is OUTSTANDING! It is the neighborhoods loss. On another note very happy for the family that now they will enjoy the rest of their lives together! NEVER had a bad meal there. God Bless to the Abbracciamento Family and Thank You for all the memories! You will be missed! <3

Angles, Obtuse and Acute, of QueensIt's great to finally hear that there will be improvements made to that mini-mall. Having lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years, it's a welcomed change. Personally, that mall and the neighborhood at large would benefit tremendously if there was a Blink fitness ( or any gym at that level) and perhaps a modern take on a diner/casual restaurant. I'll go even as far as saying a pizzeria uno's. It's a great location, geographically (close to LGA, and highways, and actually upper Manhattan) and it's family friendly; plus a boon for big parties/events. That mall and the surrounding area is ripe for change and if there is an opportunity to engage with the development team or the owners, I'm sure there will be tons of feedback.
