People must really love their fast food in Downtown Brooklyn. Business was so good at Wendy’s on Fulton Street that the national chain decided to open another location less than ten blocks away: The maker of square burgers just last week opened a 3,400-square-foot restaurant at 291 Livingston Street. CPEX was the broker on the deal. GMAP

  1. bark is MASSIVELY overpriced, i dont care what anyone says.

my aunt worked at white castle for many years back in the day. she was never able to wash the smell of it off her ahhahah. she reeked like white castle 24/7!!

i loved white castle as a kid.. but i couldnt justify paying like a buck now for one of those teeny tiny burgers. they had good shakes tho

  2. 11217 is right. fast food generally is not cheap at all.
people make up all kinds of excuses why they dont eat healthier, and often cost is the reason, but really it’s very easy to find cheap healthy food. hell even in soho, big bananas cost only 35 cents!

on that note, i had the wendy’s chili for lunch today. 🙂 it only has 6 grams of fat or something and high in fiber. it was 1.74.

  3. fsrg,

    alright, since 1920 or so,
but that’s got to be a record of
some sort for fast food joints.

    dibs,
last time in Chicago, I went straight
to Giordano’s and it was awesome.
what’s your favorite deep dish in NYC?

  4. Never had them, Snappy…but I do like Melt! Any excuse to slap my momma is a good one by me!! 🙂

Benson, Bark is on Bergen between 5th Avenue and Flatbush on that now really super cute block of shops. It’s literally right as you get out of the 2/3 Bergen stop next to Pintchik Hardware.

And then if you haven’t been, stop in to BKLYN Larder just around the corner on Flatbush and pick up some of their homemade gelato. YUM!
