People must really love their fast food in Downtown Brooklyn. Business was so good at Wendy’s on Fulton Street that the national chain decided to open another location less than ten blocks away: The maker of square burgers just last week opened a 3,400-square-foot restaurant at 291 Livingston Street. CPEX was the broker on the deal. GMAP

  3. Legion;

    I heard that Totonno’s has re-opened, but that it is not as good since the old man retired. I never heard that they were the first pizzeria – that’s a new one for me.

    rob,

    do you remember how they used to serve the fries?
    in an open dish with a wooden fork thing. and they used to have orange donuts if I remember.
    don’t get me wrong folks, I’m not saying white castle is a night at Chanterelle, it’s just a new york thing like Nathan’s.
    by the way, I think they also have a dollar menu.

  5. “bark is MASSIVELY overpriced, i dont care what anyone says.”

    No, it’s not.

    Their burger is $6.96 and is excellent.

    Their hot dogs range from $4.25 to around 6 or 7 bucks and are high quality Austrian hot dogs (more $$ than Nathan’s but you can taste the difference). Plus the buns are insanely good.

    And they have Six Points beer (they make a special beer JUST for Bark) is $4 and on Friday and Saturday from 10pm till 2am they have $15 all you can drink Six Points beer. That’s a bargain.

    It’s certainly more $$ than fast food, but the ingredients are quality, the space is super nice and the place does an amazing job of ACTUALLY doing their part to help the environment.

    You get what you pay for.

  6. benson,

    I know it well. used to stop there for lunch all the time when I worked in Bensonhurst, their sauce is excellent.
    Do you know if Totonno’s has re-opened yet on Neptune?
    I do believe that is the FIRST or OLDEST pizzeria (challenge to fsrg and 11217) in America.
