Git Along Lil Doggies
Laboratory Theater’s newest work is a meditative, cowboy dance-drama about the spiritual imprint of the windswept landscape of the American west. In an impressionistic narrative drawn from a variety of sources, two outlaws on the trail of an old adversary take work as jewel thieves for a washed up brothel madam. In a chance encounter with a traveling magician, they locate their enemy and conjure the violent forces of nature through sex-magic to take revenge. Thursday, October 14. 8 p.m. $18. 575 Metropolitan Avenue, The Brick Theater.

  1. “I’d think that our resident GAY PLUSAs would come out against what amounts to me as anti-gay sentiments—even if you like him politically. Why can’t you separate the two?”

I can. They were wrong. I am against them. The situation at hand is who would make a better governor for NYS. I still believe it’s Paladino.

I will have a beer with him. We’ll discuss this. No, I won’t convince him of the wonders of anal sex but even Guiliani wears a dress now and then!!!!!

  2. Spitzer and Paterson are nothing like Paladino and neither is anything nearly as dangerous to our personal freedoms and benefits. Shooting from the hip is only entertaining if that’s all it’s meant to be – governing takes a bit more than that.

And I would gladly vote for Sheldon Silver for life if it meant sending Paladino back into the cave he crawled out of forever.

  3. “You’re advocating a lack of free speech.”

WRONG. He can say it, but I’d think that our resident GAY PLUSAs would come out against what amounts to me as anti-gay sentiments—even if you like him politically. Why can’t you separate the two?

  4. DCB, it’s so sad that legislation can’t be handled by the legislative branch of government. Congress isn’t about policy; popularity is the driving factor for decision-making there.

  5. He shouldn’t have opened his mouth. that is true. there is nothing for him to gain by taking publicly anti-gay positions. he does seem to have bad advisors, who would probably be badly advising him if he won.
