Git Along Lil Doggies
Laboratory Theater’s newest work is a meditative, cowboy dance-drama about the spiritual imprint of the windswept landscape of the American west. In an impressionistic narrative drawn from a variety of sources, two outlaws on the trail of an old adversary take work as jewel thieves for a washed up brothel madam. In a chance encounter with a traveling magician, they locate their enemy and conjure the violent forces of nature through sex-magic to take revenge. Thursday, October 14. 8 p.m. $18. 575 Metropolitan Avenue, The Brick Theater.

  1. “When you’ve got nothing else to say trot out the homos.”

Delepp-why do you think he did it then if there are so many real issues for him to highlight?

“wasder, the courts will decide the gay marriage thing as far as rights, not the whims of 50 different governors.”

Totally true–but still you can’t say you support a “live and let live” position and then make statements that reflect a personal position that is completely at odds with that philosophy.

I don’t care if Cuomo is an outsider or not – I just don’t want a crackpot for governor.

There’s ample precedent here in NYS for crackpot governors. How have the last two turned out!!!????

  3. When you’ve got nothing else to say trot out the homos. With all that is wrong in NY…..it’s easy pickens in issues to show why he’s could be a viable candidate.
And frankly I’m loathed to vote for cuomo.

  4. “cobble, you cant encourage homophobia.”

Bullsh*t, Rob. You can set the example of saying that being anti-gay is wrong. Saying children shouldn’t be “brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid or successful option.” is a “Crack Pot” move, and it’s dangerous. It’s practically inciting the lunatics to violence. It’s encouraging the negative thinking that goes on about homophobia.

I find it fascinating that neither you, nor Dave will come out against this type of talk from someone running for office!

  5. wasder, the courts will decide the gay marriage thing as far as rights, not the whims of 50 different governors.

Besides, any gay couple with a decent estate lawyer can have all the same benefits as a hetero married couple.

  6. I am happy to see that Mr. B is respecting one of the most solemn of all holidays, Columbus Day.

Off to Dallas for another trade show. Meatballs for everyone!!

Saluti ai figli e figlie del Bel Paese. Abbiate una buona festa di Cristoforo Colombo!!
