Thinking asbout it that could just be due to the way Americans blur every syllable in the middle or words, i.e. you might be trying to say Sheeps head but it comes out as Ship-shed. Sorta like the American pronunciation of water, which comes out as waer.

yeah that is how poor people are forced to manage their money. it’s not pretty. it’s hard to think one or two weeks ahead sometimes. for some of us, at times, it’s a day to day thing.
i wish there some kind of program that matches people up so they can share their unlimited metrocards… like it wouldnt work out for everyone, but what if you lived near someone who worked on weekends and had to commute but you didnt work on weekends type of thing..
