The difference is that many people really do resent how the bike lanes are being imposed, southbrooklyn. The views of drivers are being ignored by the city.
It’s a sincere opinion, whereas the Park Slope thing is just posturing. I doubt many people seriously hate PS.
“drunk man mugged for ipod in slope”
suuuuuckaaah!
*rob*
in the contest for most tired and bording comment, i think hating on bicycles is right up there with hating on park slope.
“In the first study of its kind, officials scoured the city’s subway system to discover what accounts for the perennial presence of rodents, a scourge since the system opened more than a century ago.”
Huh?!?!? They needed to spend $ on a study to realize this!
But let’s keep cutting services.
“In 1976, an academic study concluded that “rats with high blood pressure should not ride the subways too often or too long: the stress of noise, vibration, and crowding may kill some of them before their time.—
Glad to see that not only are we idiots today in spending $ on stupid studies, but back in 1976 the conclusions from studies where idiotic.
It’s called “entitlement,” etson. It’s part of their culture.
“Instead they move into the car lanes without looking to overtake each other, or just randomly drift into them. ” –
you just noticed this recently?
I came across another bike line problem when driving (not in BK) last night. Cyclists seem to have a problem staying in their clearly marked lane, even when there is nothing blocking them. Instead they move into the car lanes without looking to overtake each other, or just randomly drift into them. Possibly a false sense of security.
“Union between 3rd and Nevins is Park Slope?”
Article must have been written by a broker.
I was wondering if ExTex was quoted in that Daily News article(bike lanes).
If they can serve in the military, they should be able to drink.
