You must not be on the F during rush hour. After 7:40am it is packed! And coming home too. And usually it’s one of the older, dirtier trains, not like the new J/M/Z or 4/5/6 trains. That said though, people are pretty mellow on the F relative to other trains. I literally never get a seat though unless it’s late at night, though admittedly the A/C at is much more crowded. The boro hall transfer is like a scene from a japanese subway cartoon mashup. Oof!
Pete, do what I do and shove his @ss over and take a seat 🙂 Sorry if I bruised you Joe 🙂
so it is you that falls asleep across 3 seats and makes me stand!
I did find the shuttle both pleasant and scenic the first weekend. I noticed You can see the houses on 9th street better when you’re viewing from the height of a bus rather than a car. the following weekend I wa ssick of it already.
As far as getting a seat and having polite fellow passengers the F train is the best train I’ve used. It was never fast but that’s why you can get a seat! I usually choose to stay on and snooze in my seat rather than catch the faster and very crowded A train @ Jay street.
CG_ups, I also did the F Train Shuttle with the Champs a couple of times in the last week and it was great each time. You even get a free ride if you only need to go between Jay Street and Church Ave.
someone bought the cutouts yesterday
Paris Cutout is only $250.
Why not a lot “of love” for that “city”?
