  1. The chances of someone reading down this far for a comment on a different story are slim, but here goes anyway.

re: the article on Bloomberg.com —
“The [New York City] housing market’s cumulative price drop from peak to trough will be 25 percent with, a ‘bottoming’ period that begins this year and may last two years, [UC Berkeley economist Kenneth] Rosen said.”

Where is BHO on this story? Bid half off but accept a counter-offer at one-quarter less than peak?

  2. also remember that often tactic is to charge with higher crime.
also rape in legal sense does not mean he jumped out of bushes and attacked girl…. Any relations with minor is
statuatory rape. To assume that he had intercourse with the girl (whether forcibly or not) is also not necessarily so.
But that is how newspapers/media work…make it sound more sensational. And it works.

  3. “i think we now know the true identity of WHAT. sorry about your jimmy, dude.

That comment has landed you on my Target list Randolph….

There are some things that are off limits with me…

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end…

  4. Unfortunately it’s not uncommon for rape cases to be plead down to misdemeanors. As you stated Dave, sometimes there is not sufficient evidence or in many cases, it’s done to spare a fragile victim the process of having to testify at trial. This guy is not listed on the NY Sex Offender Registry, but that’s not uncommon either if he’s classified as a Level 1 Offender. Seeing how he likely plead down to 2 misdemeanors in the case, Level 1 classification is likely.
