hey Megan, or could anyone help me out to identify the flower tree in the picture. I have an exact same one in my backyard except is in a creamy white color, and the petals fall apart easily when you try to pick them as cut flowers. What is the name of the tree / flowers?

I know, been dealing with the dead flowers for the past 3 years, it’s very short lived, but it’s still easier than the dead bamboo leaves I’m also dealing with. Beautiful things don’t usually last very long do they? My own youthful years, for example-)
