The attitudes in that article seem more relevant to locations where housing is not so expensive as here.

ecoux- it’s also a matter of the day to day rigors of ownership. I see it first hand with several friends who own, including my own landlord. Unless you’re rich enough to pay someone to fix everything home ownership is stressful and wearing.
But if we’re being penalized for being off-topic on other threads yesterday, doesn’t it make more sense to put up the OT so we don’t do it again?
