The thread that won CarGar his most touching memory award. Mother’s Day?
Ooff. Snappy. That is terrible. New Years resolutions and apologies seem to be in order here.
On a more positive note, I want to thank Brownstoner for delivering me a boyfriend for four months of 2009. Thanks to Snappy and Biff for sporting the ruffled tuxedos that helped to make it happen.
good thing we didn’t see it until later. we’d hang our heads in shame. the thread was and is still funny though.
some of the mill basin threads were funny but given the recent award ceremony, it may not be politically correct to revisit them.
Ok…just got to the bottom of the ROTD thread. Apparently one of the people in the pic posted an angry reply several days later. Yikes!

I walked down Vandy a couple of weeks after the thread. The woman (could kinda tell real life) sitting on the stoop in the photo was in the exact same place, reading a book. S/he must live in that building.
I didn’t have the balls to say anything, though.
The song Biff made up in the ROTD thread was HYSTERICAL!
the poop on a stoop thread was BBB’s
the androgyne (if youre reading this btw xoxoox your a board celebrity!) sitting on the stoop in front of store was def. my favorite.
and the 400,000 threads where 11217 wigged out and blogacided only to come back 10 minutes later telling us 500 of his closest friends all JUST SIGNED leases in park slope!
