A restaurant called Brick Oven Barbeque Pit is going to open in a warehouse on 3rd Avenue and 6th Street within the next month or so. The proprietors have announced the coming of the new business with the charming spray-paint job above, and one of the owners told us the Pit is also going to offer brick-oven pizza and serve booze. Smokin’! GMAP
So much ill will . . . at least that douchebag Polemicist isn’t here.
i agree 12:57. daveinbdedstuy has had time to post three times today. get a life, dave!
How is calling other people on this blog pathetic less pathetic than calling neighborhoods pathetic?
i agree 12:21. They’re pathetic.
all you people are distressingly depressing. a piece about a bbq joint explodes into the same old neighborhood battles. just shut up. everyone has their own perspective. i wouldn’t want to live next t o any of you since you have too much time on your hands to engage in this nonsense. why don’t you all go for a walk instead?
so if you like park slope you are either a troll or work at brownstoner?
is that the case also for nearly every thread where someone feels the need to say that homes in carroll gardens should cost 50 million dollars?
i believe you live with blinders on. there are people on this blog who defend and say great things about all the neighborhoods.
i can specifically think of a person who comes on and talks up williamsburg like it’s eden.
if i lived in park slope, i’d be pretty proud of it too. it’s a nice place.
“Do they use sauce or rub???”
I see we are back to talking about the gay fratboys.
To further clarify, 2:44 reads like a totally fake post. So it’s either a troll or someone at Brownstoner.
You know, this thread has convinced me that an employee at Brownstoner is under orders to insert and defend a “Park Slope is the best” comment on pretty much every thread in an effort to increase the comments count. Otherwise, there is no way to explain how a thread on freakin BBQ in the Gowanus degenerates into a Slope hate fest.
