  1. If this is even a moderately fancy hair salon, then this is a sign of continuing gentrification, not the opposite.

Yoga studios typically appear early in the gentrification cycle. For example, there is a yoga studio right off Cortelyou, but no “fancy” hair salons here yet, just the ones that have been serving the neighborhood for years.

  2. >>Did you move Rob? I didn’t know you lived on 5th and Warren…

    11217!

Didn’t know you are a stalker yourself? You’ve been keeping your tabs on Rob? Ewwwww! How skeevy! Yuckity yuck!

    L-O-S-E-R!!

    ROTFL!!!

  3. Did you move Rob? I didn’t know you lived on 5th and Warren…

Have you ever even walked that far north before?

P.S. I hate to break it to you, but the new hair salon going into that spot doesn’t look low-end enough to warm your heart.

    It looks quite fancy.

  4. I walked by 2 nights ago, and they were working on the new hair salon…it looks as though it’s going to be nice.

I could use a good place to get my hair cut on the North end of the Slope somewhere.

There is another high end looking salon opening on 7th Avenue between Lincoln Place and Berkeley Place next to Santa Fe Grill where the old Trade Winds (crap furniture) was located.
