StreetLevel: 5th Avenue Yoga Studio Hops to 3rd Avenue
Yogasana, the yoga studio that used to be on 5th Avenue and Warren Street, now lives on 3rd Avenue and Wycoff. Its former storefront in the Slope has become a hair salon. GMAP

You’re probably right. Funny that this is the reference that comes to your mind though…
> i want wig and weave salons, not ‘salons’ for pursey-lipped yups.
I’ve said it before, but will say it again… rob, you live in the wrong neighborhood.
Mayhaps you are just a butterfly smashed on the windscreen of gentrification.
I thought your non comment, Jessi was FAR more fascinating actually!
High end salon for Park Slope probably means about 30-40 bucks for a men’s haircut Rob. Not 100.
Just like the hot dogs at Bark aren’t $10.00. They range from $4.25 – $7.
Clearly you are going to be a hater because that’s your schtick, but can you at least be a more accurate hater?
The over exaggerations are kinda lame.

already there infinite. actually, between 2nd and 3rd ave.
i actually like 3rd too. my fav is 4th, then third. then 6th, then 5th, then 8th, then 7th. it’s like the higher the ave number it is, the more sketchy it is (in my view anyway, people probably have the opposite opinion on that tho)

Third Avenue has some interesting challenges as well as amazing possibilities. Toxic issues aside, the area is going to pop, of that I have no doubt. It’s well on the way already.
barber shops appear early in the gentrification cycle. Hair salons appear later.
I could use a good place to get my hair cut on the North end of the Slope somewhere.
