Still No Takers For Big Green Space on Baltic
It ain’t easy being green. When we last heard from the Green Giant of Baltic Street back in September, the newly constructed commercial space was still sitting empty. It ain’t easy being green. When we last heard from the Green Giant of Baltic Street back in September, the newly constructed commercial space was still sitting empty. Yesterday Lost City checked in with the wallflower and, sure enough, it’s still available. The blog takes issue with some of the marketing verbiage though. Rather than calling it “the most architecturally alluring storefront in Cobble Hill,” as the listing from Vespa Reality does, the blog suggests a rewrite: “I’ll give them this: It’s the most architecturally singular storefront in the neighborhood.” The blog also offers up a couple of more reasons why the space hasn’t found a taker yet: “It must be a bitch to heat in the winter and probably becomes a sauna in the summer. Not to mention the window-washing bills.”

CarGar- I am an artiste!!!! How can I create the perfect visuals if both of them are in tuxes. I ask you! Have you no sense of bridal design? (Now I understand why we had that little virtual ceremony. My dreams in shreds…sniff…)
the cake, natch, needs to have a built in gravity bong
11217 you won’t regret it once you come out. Just approach anyone of us and we’ll introduce you to the rest of the group. I caved last year and went to meet everyone and have regretted ever since but now I am stuck with all these losers :o).
I think we all know who’s gunna end up being the bride.
And I’m just fine with that if it means a honeymoon on a deserted island with DH.
Biff…I’m trying to overcome my fear of meeting everyone. I will try to gain the strength by the 21st!
THIS wedding, I would have to see!
Ummm, bxgrl, I don’t think that’s how it works in same sex ceremonies unless one of the partners is a cross-dresser or a transvestite. Grooms in tuxes. Attendants can be male or female and wear appropriate attire. Ring bearers and dogs get to wear whatever they want. A gay wedding in Westport scored the big write up in the Times Society pages 2 weeks or so ago.
DH- first, one you you must decide who’s wearing the gown (with wig, natch! ) and who, the tux. YO can have as many attendants as you wish but again, the dresses on one side, the tuxes on the other. Both of you remember- the bride get to be the drama queen, the groom is but a prop. Overbearing, controlling moms are the best mothers-of-the-bride so pick carefully. I’m thinking fountains of water on each side of the aisle, lit by LED lights that change color as the bride walks down the aisle.
“You should see me by around 10pm. ;)”
11217, come out on January 21 and we will!
What can I say Rob…I’m not a morning person. 🙂
That’s very observant of you. I do think I become more and more chill as the day moves on. You should see me by around 10pm. 😉
