Schematic, Work Starts for Big Apartment Building on Ralph Avenue in Bed Stuy

The laundromat has been demo’d and construction has started at 75 Ralph Avenue, one of the largest projects going up in Bed Stuy right now. We found this schematic attached to the construction fence, and workers were digging the foundation when we stopped by this morning.

Without a more detailed rendering, it’s hard to tell if this will be the most basic of Fedders style buildings or something slightly more polished.

As previously reported, the building will be six stories with 57 apartments. The owner is Solomon Feder and the architect is Charles Mallea. It is located between Madison and Putnam.
