  1. slope, ive been curious about that too. it’s not just at indian restaurants. i look in all the windows and notice only about half or so of restaurants in my area of 5th avenue have them up. and oddly they are all A’s.. but it turns out if you got a B or a C you can repeal it, and NOT have to put it up, until the inspectors come back. which could be weeeks or months.

  4. The restaurants that fail the inspections seem to close for a few days and then re-open with ‘grade pending’ stickers.
    Also haven’t seen many restaurants own up to less than an ‘A’ grade. The cafe at B&N on 7th is the only proud B student I remember noticing.
