My kid watched the two football games last Sunday. Whenever they did a close up of a guy wearing the yellow pants (sorry, don’t know what team that was), he was memorized.
>Was TV a unifying cultural force if you were non-white?”
So non-whites never saw any of this?…
I can’t tell if you’re serious or not, but I think the point was about the actors and participants, not the events, just look at any TV from even 40 years ago. Other than the exceptions that prove the rule, what non-whites were there? Do you know that the producers tried to not have Lucy’s husband star in I Love Lucy because he was Latino? Only her star power prevailed.
I cringe when I see films from pre-mid 20th century too, that sea of white faces except for a lackey or two.
well no one buys those to watch the superbowl. im talking about the really really expensive tvs that people buy and then return the day after the super bowl.
Since Montero’s has an “A”, Slopey, I’d say that’s a perfectly appropriate benchmark. I doubt they deliver Indian food, but I’d kill for a little Italian right now.
I’m not banning TV. We just don’t get reception therefore no stations. I won’t be opposed to the kid watching TV.
We found that we rarely watched TV. There was a time when I was always out in the evenings and never home. So why bother paying for cable if not using it.
Now, that I’m home. Our viewing pleasure is in the form of live entertainment.

Is a C grade an automatic closure?

Kens, so you’re saying Apple stole the FACE-TIME Tech from mother Russia?
Biff, I’ve seen B grades

Rob, returning flat panel TVs are doable. Returning those old Cathode TVs is mission impossible unless you’re hercules/superman
