We biked past 665 Classon Avenue earlier this week and noticed that the storefront space was in the process of being transformed into a pizza and Mediterranean joint. (Looked to be more of a casual, take out place than a sit down one.) The guys working on the site promised plenty of vegetarian options and said they hoped to be open in a couple weeks. Seems very similar to the Pita Pizza Grill that was revamped a few months ago in Park Slope. Think pizza and falafel could be a winning combination in this spot? GMAP

  1. It’s a great idea for some reasonably priced food in an area that really needs more options. When I lived on Classon from ’04 to ’07 there was nothing there. Over the past year a small but interesting cross section of restaurants has developed (Vietnamese, Italian and Cuban). Hope they make a decent pie!
