Snappy, Cobble, yes, I saw Legion’s security system last night, right after I *horked* from watching Hoarders. But, since I have keys to the OT’s offices, and the alarm code, the security system was not much trouble for me to bypass. As for the manual revisions, while I suppose you can take it up with the Board after the holidays, provided your proposed changes ever get out of committee, in the meantime you get to wear glitter and pasties – and only glitter and pasties – to the Bell Tower party!!!!! And, yes, I’ve gone rogue. I’m also going commando.
Boil potatoes (I used the small white ones; don’t know what they’re called) in a pot with milk and heavy cream (ratio 50:50), bay leave, thyme, garlic cloves (I used 12 large ones, I had lots of potatoes).
When potatoes are soft, drain milk/cream (but save it) and take out bay leaves and thyme.
Mash potatoes and garlic (I left the skin on and mashed them right along with the potatoes).
Add the milk/cream while mashing potatoes to desired fluffy consistency.
Add salt and pepper as desired.
I also chopped up some thyme and sprinkled it on top.
Easy and so much better tasting than boiling potatoes in water.
Of course they were, snappy. I had a stray cat once, she used to do a little dance of joy when I made roast chicken.
I will try to make it Thursday. Things are a little chaotic what with all the Cyber Monday stories and moving. But of course it’s been at least a week since I’ve seen some of you and I miss you!
