ah yeah i think that might be the emergency vet clinic gemini. i just looked up eye problems with dogs and all the websites say dont overlook any eye problem even if you think it might just be an allergy.
I can’t advise about whether you should take your dog to the vet, but I can tell you that Dr. Madden (at 5th Ave, 7th-8th Streets) is absolutely the best. Very smart, a good obsrver of animal behavior, good bedside manner with animals and people, thoughtful diagnostician. Took great care of our old cat years ago who battled lymphoma for about a year. Is great with our current crazy trio. Remembers the patient well from visit to visit. Get there on time but expect to wait about half an hour or more. Can’t imagine it will run you $300 unless your dog needs lots of tests and workups.

Making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got.
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.
Wouldn’t you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
and they’re always glad you came.
You wanna be where you can see,
our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody
knows Your name.
anyone have any experience with the vet on 5th ave in park slope between 7th and 8th street? i have to bring my dog there tonight 🙁 yesterday we noticed he was rather depressed and lethargic and his eyes are like glued shut and runny and bloodshot. do you think it might be allergies to pollen? there’s no pollen in manhattan, and i know there’s a lot of pollen in brooklyn and this is his first spring there.
do you think it’s necessary i bring him to the vet? i just know it’s gonna cost a good couple of hundred bucks and ill be so mad if it’s just a little head cold or pollen allergy, but at the same time i dont want my roommates very old dog catching anything if it’s contagious or my dog to go blind or anything 🙁
do vets do payment plans? would it be ghetto to even ask them? im just hoping it’s not more than 300 dollars, but i guess if it is i will just have to pony it up. dumb dog better appreciate!

Oh dear goodness! What a way to start the day but by talking about nooners.
Do I need to post my list of cheap sleazy hourly motels in NYC?

Seems that randolph may not have had a nooner in a long time. Maybe nothing at all in a long time. Sad, really.
