Python in Vietnam, little baby whole birds in Hong Kong, fried grasshoppers in Bangkok and the fried gusanos worms in Mexico. They were all very good. Durian, on the other hand, tastes like rotten mush.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had was pig trotter ravioli sprinkled with crispy pig tongue bits in Siena. Baby eels are delightful.
Troy…the “we” refers to me and my partner who is Filipino and lives in the house we have in Philly. The Chinese bf and the Mexican bf are up here in NYC. I see them both once a week or so. They know about the partner in Philly.
biff- and then they started quoting her in the NY Times too. Horrible. I was expected to genuflect to the “oft-quoted in the New York Times” MM. Hmmmphf. The last straw was the day I had to use a crowbar to help her get her head through the doorway.
Chicken- Star Trek is great!! In Bruges was pretty dark- I thought- I mean, my endomorphins don’t kick in when someone splatters on the ground and their buddy is shot all to hell. And the better the movie, the more disturbing it is. So I haven’t been able to watch it again.
Dave, have to ask. you refer to your mecixan bf and chinese bf often and sometimes, just say “our”. So, is one a live in and one a “piece on the side”? or do you live with both, which would either be pretty cool or an absolute horror.
