DH, switching topic a little. if you just want to live in a solid & spacious bldg for cheap, keep an eye out for those hi-rise coops in clinton hill (ie along willoughby ave, hall st, lafayette ave). am starting to see occasionally 1 bdrms units (700-800 sq ft) going for 250k-270k. maint is ~500-600/month. It aint RE eye candy but it’s cheap & spacious. You’ll see them when you browse craigslist or streeteasy
thanks m4l – are those the same buildlings as the clinton hill co-ops?
if so – yeah the outside isn’t much to look at but the layout look great and looks like they get alot of sun.
Biff, did BRG’s “ameteurs” spelled correctly – in 5:25pm post? Me immigrant wants to know.
Etchings? HA, maybe back in ’76 in junior high.
DIBS, your “into” comment. Classic. Not very brownstonerish!
THL, that site is a riot…THANKS, saved it as a favorite and will read more later.
“Lincoln we should definitely have a drink and I’ll show you my yard. :)”
Is that the modern day equivalent of the “let me show you my etchings” line?
