Don’t go around saying everything came from the Egyptians. It will lead people to discredit any contributions we do attribute to them. The Egyptians did give us a hell of a lot and a hell of a lot mor than they will ever get credit for.
But when you go around with blanket statements, it will make you the boy who cried egypt and only aids the Eurocentrism we’re already stuck with.
The CHinese and Arabs are just starting to get credit (relatively speaking over the course of recorded history) for their achievements. Let’s not shoot Osiris in the foot now

I disagree with you Biff. As per the WABC, Downtown Brooklyn and the WBLS Frankie Crocker posts there are holes in Morris history about Brooklyn. My assessment of those holes was very harsh and I’m sorry for that but what I wrote but cannot stand is the total re-writing of history. Biff Brooklyn and the City of New York has gone thru a dramatic transformation over the last few years! People like myself hate to see change happen so fast and wished for the “good ole days” of Brooklyn but that will never happen again. The New York I know about got crushed by the Mutant Asset Bubble! Only Cobblehiller and Benson are the only people on Brownstoner that understands where I’m coming from (Yes Benson). The disgusting thing is if Morris grew up here and was drawing from those experiences then, I would not have a problem with it (Swear to GOD) but when I read such nonsense (Because I was born and raise here and know the history) it turn my stomach to see it! That’s like my moving to Palo Alto, CA and starting a Blog and telling everyone there that it happen this way. I call bullshit on things that I know are false, did not happen and had no part of Brooklyn!
