DIBS:
1) Posting a video of ABBA as the FGVOTD does not a fascination make!
2) I think I more than make up for it by the fact I couldn’t stand “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert” and Barbara Streisand (although I did enjoy watching Liza Minelli play Pookie Adams in the Sterile Cuckoo).
Benson, you know my political leanings and I know yours. We both read and watch the news (presumably) so we are both well aware of what cuts are being made and discussed, as well as what spending is being discussed. You see much of this as a bad thing, I see much of it as a positive thing. Nobody on this site needs me to regurgitate the news for them. A new jet from Lockheed is a waste in my book; funding for the arts, infrastructure, public health care, volcano monitoring, etc., is probably a waste in yours. So there we are. Here, kitty, kitty!
