The market may care about them but I don’t – the ministry of misinformation will just make them up to be what they want it to be.

I’m back. I think I saw the same report to which Legion is referring, and he’s a bit off. What the report stated is that there are 41,000 families in NYS who will be subjected to the higher tax rate just approved by the clowns in Albany. The vast majority of these families live in the NYC area. The point of the report was speculation that some of these folks will pick up and move yto NJ or CT.,therefore further hurting the NYC economy.

Legion’s larger point is also correct. We now find ourselves is a situation where only half the people in the US pay any income taxes at all. This is dangerous for a democracy. Everyone should have a stake in the system.

Right, slope…everyone that has a legitimate job and a SS # has federal taxes deducted and the vast majority of them file a 1040 EZ and have no deductions.

His allegation shows how people will believe anything they hear without actually thinking about it. Maybe someone on a blog told him.
