Why wouldn’t they allow a second inspection? Is that typical?
Sorry to have been away for so long….a quick trick and now I’m on the train to Philly.
I think I already know what everyone thinks: Either they like the place but don’t want to take on all the work, or they think it’s frightful.
Partly I want to take a closer look at areas that might have hidden water damage, the windows, and other things needing repair. (They wouldn’t allow a second inspection. DAMN! I could sneak in an inspector! Just kidding.)
Also I am mulling making an offer. But if we did, it would mean we could only spend $10,000 on electrical rather than doing the whole thing. (Is that even possible?)
I am also sort of thinking — what if they would do a short sale with the bank and take $100,000 less, which would make it possible for us to take out a construction loan? If they lower the price, I want it!
Also I want to spend as much time as possible with the house I love, ha ha.
I advise lying. I’m not nearly as wholesome as you are!
Why do you want to go mopar?
Mopar, tell them you might be interested again and want to take a second look. That might fly.
