No, my biggest pet peeve is when someone gets on with some McDonalds crap or something else and stands there eating it. Inevitably they eat like a slob, dropping most of it and look like they’ve been on a steady mcDonalds diet since birth.
Anyone noticed a huge influx of Brooklyn properties on streeteasy? It’s up like %50 since yesterday.
After looking at what was actually added, I noticed that the other Brooklyn MLS database was merged into it.
For those who don’t know, there’s a separate huge MLS that specializes on Kensington and everything south of it (Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Midwood, etc).
Now finally all of Brooklyn properties are in one place.
Ok I find most men with any sense of pride will not to squish into a seat between 2 women or 2 men – I hate when men sqoosh in – I find it strange
Rob – I hear you on the poor lighting – I was like OUCH!
also agreed on being crafty – its horrible to say ,but on the F train I tend to stand near to Asian folks who are sitting as I know most likely they will get off at East Bway….
i dont know dave. maybe youre right. im a very wobbly person tho and standing on trains would cause me to step on too many feet. it’s best i sit. i usually do my reading on the train tho and id rather sit and read too than stand.
biggest pet peeve? – turn you stupid ipods down on the train. when it sounds like a f’ing boombox level of sound you are seriously destroying your ear drums and no one wants to listen to your crap music anyway!
Snappy, she’s a technical writer, she was involved in commercial real estate appraisals at a Wall Street support firm. Her job was to enforce a ‘house’ style, make sure everything that went out was in good shape, and also she was in charge of presentations of various types. She was doing great barely a year out of college, she’d been there two years and was making nice money. Then the bottom fell out.
She has a great work ethic, inherited from her parents no doubt They did love her and gave her a great package, five months’ severance. So that plus unemployment should keep her in good shape for a few more months. Else, there goes the guest bedroom. Sh*t!
I never sit on a train unless its practically empty. Too claustrophobic and not enough air circulation. Besides, standing, you can more easily scope out “eye candy” which is the only positive aspect of being on a subway anyway.
ALOL x 5000 did anyone see the insert of the brown harris stevens “important residential properties” in the new york times today? it includes a total year book style photo pages of all the brokers from their history. it’s HYSTERICAL! someone needs to write funny stuff on it and scan it and put it on lind. Cheryl Bundy’s pic is cracking me UP!
Gemini, I do the same thing on the D train as it approaches Grand Street and the N as it approaches Canal. I feel so sh*tty about that, but it works.

OK, no more rants today. 🙂
Funny Denton! I hope your guest room stays empty 🙂
