So, serious question for you folks…As you know the job market is sucking lemons. I’ve applied for numerous jobs that are ‘below’ my education and experience level only to be told that I’m over-qualified and they don’t trust that I won’t run out on them the second a ‘real’ job comes along. So, I know it’s never a good idea to lie about one’s experience, but, if you were in my situation, would you consider wiping out the professional resume and claiming no previous job experience in order to get something like a cashier job?
