lech- awesome. Although… who sleeps with a knife?

(admittedly, a friend of mine used to do that, woke up when her BF came in, pulled the knife (half asleep) then realized who it was, feel back asleep… on the damn knife. Lucky she didn’t cause some serious injury.)

I just don’t think 30 year rates are going to rise significantly over 5%.

I did actually sell some of them to buy more stocks that were yielding between 5-19% when things were bad in 2009.

serious question on the pop growth thing-

Is there an economically reasonable way to ramp down population for a country? I mean, they can’t actually all grow forever, and it wouldn’t be a bad thing, resource-wise, if, say, the US population dropped a bit. Is the problem just the retiree-ponzi scheme of medicarecaid? Or is there other stuff I’m not considering?

DHAKA, Bangladesh – A 40-year-old Bangladeshi woman cut off a man’s penis during an alleged attempted rape and took it to a police station as evidence, police in a remote part of the country said Monday.

The woman, a married mother of three, was attacked Saturday night while she was sleeping in her shanty in Jhalakathi district, some 120 miles south of Dhaka, officers said.

“As he tried to rape her, the lady cut his penis off with a knife. She then wrapped up the penis in a piece of polythene and brought it to the Jhalakathi police station as evidence of the crime,” police chief Abul Khaer said.
