Let’s go back to Hicks St. in Bk. Hts, where the original term “Hicks from the sticks” is said to have originated. Once upon a time the people who lived on Hicks St. were the country bumpkins, evidently. That said, Hicks St. has gentrified.
most dudes are just god damn happy to get some after doing that much chit chat that deep into the night – ie hotter be damned. Most smart dudes would NOT blow a sure thing / in-the-bag to then try to score with the hotter new arrival – that’s them over-confident dudes who strike out & end up spending the night with own palms.
