After reading the Open and Shut thread this week, I was actually thinking, enough with the new businesses in Park Slope! There’s too much. Although I ate at that pizza place on 7th Ave. and 1st St. – wow, so good.
BedstuyMaven – you’re right, the city was too big for me to know it all. I’ve since found regular cricket in Flushing, but my interest has waned. I think I just enjoyed it for the cream teas.

interesting, ditto… I had a friend from brixton with a white mother and carribean father, educated at oxford, giant afro. when he tried to order a sandwich at the bodega they had no fucking clue how to deal with him. drove him absolutely insane!
