I had a few Jamaican coworkers and classmates over the past few years (female) and they all LOVED Celine Dion. is she like super big down there or was that an anomaly?

I’ve known Jamaican Asians and Middle Easterners.

Me to. But, I know a lot more white people who get on my nerves. To be fair, there are a lot more white people than any other group. People least likely to get on my nerves – Asians. But there number are growing. By 2020 if the demographic projections are correct – Asians will be number 2 on my list.

Do people in Jamaica actively shun homosexuals? Or is it just on paper?
There is a lot of assault again homosexuals. This is among younger people. Many in the dance hall reggae culture (which is similar to the hip hop culture) promote violence against homosexuals.
Older Jamaicans,just live and let live.
