I agree with kens – ink and piercings are hot in moderation

I just couldn’t get passed it.
I was like the Vince Gallo character in Buffalo 66.
There’s a scene in that film where he’s sitting at a late night diner with Christina Ricci after he gets out of prison and in walks this woman that he’s had a crush on since grade school played by Rosanna Arquette.
So the Ricci character tells him he should get over her and that she’s not all that.

He proceeds to tell her that it wasn’t even that he had wanted her, although he was obsessed, he just didn’t think she was “good enough” or something to that effect.

He was a nut of a character in that movie, but at the heart of it was a grain of underlying truth.
Men resent being told what to do by their “buddy downstairs” sometimes and sometimes they take a stand.
