it’s like 5 minutes into manhattan, you can send your kids to the public local schools, it’s more diverse than you would ever really imagine (real diversity, not faux diversity), and the views of manhattan are amazing if that’s your thing. guttenberg is also another amazing NJ gold coast town right on the river which is adjacent to North Bergen when i grew up. (people in guttenberg and NJ go to the same HS). i sound like a broker!!! maybe i should get my brokers license and start pimping out jersey goldcoast property!!!!

Weehawken, NJ. Personally I thik it’s one of the nicest neighborhoods (mini city really) in the entire NYC metro area. It’s sorta like a hybrid of DUMBO and Greenpoint/Williamsburg without all the moonfaces and yuppie businesses.

Yeah – living in beautiful neighborhoods full of trees and greenery sure sucks during allergy season!! Suckaz!!
i’ve never been a fan of trees, but i will admit i do out of no where look up see them and DO like them. (if that makes any sense). im a huge fan of very nasty industrial looking areas that have zero greenery. it’s an aesthetic thing i guess. but then when i take my dog to the park i feel something nice inside and kinda sorta peaceful. tho that could just be the smurf juice, whatev.
tho i guess everything we are inhaling in the city quadruplifies even the smallest amount of pollen. im not against parks and beaches now being smoke free even tho i really really REALLY want to be.
I usually have a harder time of it in the burbs, but this year is kicking my ass, concrete jungle and all. It’s like the tree pollen is on crack this year and it’s just extra annoying. If I could, I’d rip my nose off.
