May I say something?
I applaud politicians who are “partisan”. I applaud someone who fights for their cause.
There is nothing wrong with a politician thinking about his re-electrion campaign. That is democracy. The way we hold politicians accountable is re-electing them, or not.

“Nor would most democrats under a Republican administration, so just drop it.”
I agree with dibs.
I see nothing wrong with turning down a job when you know you will have fundamental differences with your boss.
“only willing to discuss her collection of 100 cats.”

I disagree, bx. They made the right choice because their service required a compromise they could not make. I totally respect the choice.
