What we – and the American people – are asking
for isn‘t radical. We want to stop tax hikes that
destroy jobs; Democrats want to raise them. We
want to stop Washington from spending money it
doesn‘t have; Democrats want a free pass to
spend more. We‘re in a hole and we want to stop
digging; but Democrats won‘t give up the
shovel…. I also want to address those who‘d
suggest our efforts to cut spending could
somehow hurt our economy or hurt the markets.
If we don‘t act boldly now, the markets will act for
us very soon. Remember, Standard & Poor‘s
warned several weeks ago that it may downgrade
its U.S. debt rating not over the debt limit fight –
but because Washington has no plan to tackle its
massive debt. The greatest threat to our
economy, to job creation, and to our children‘s
future is doing nothing. Doing nothing is not an
option. The American people won‘t tolerate it,
and neither will we.
LOL! I know linux people- actually I wish I had the nerve to try it. I might try it on my alienware laptop, actually. I don’t use it much at this point- would be good to practice on.
I love playing around with the computers but right now I can’t take a chance on screwing it up. I’m only semi-geeky 🙁

Rob, I get what you’re saying. Midwesterners suck because they don’t get cynicism and sarcasm. Randolph, toughen up buddy, that’s the only thing that’s gonna make you a real New Yorker. “Screw you, Rob” would have been sufficient, but you had to go all whiny on us.

cobble, that certainly explains whey he is “forever having to fix his PCs.”
I think most Linux people are unhappy when there is not something on their computers that needs fixing.

Have you met BH? He’s a serious Linux guy. He’s got a partition on our notebook computer so that I can use Microsoft and he can use Linux on it.
I use an Acer.
