back to yesterdays apple talk…..one thing that does annoy me is with apple I can’t read the text of my tenants email (I have hotmail) on the mac — I have to sign onto a pc.
not sure why..probably he is writing using fancy fonts, colors whatever.
About dental work and teeth, it has been my biggest health challenge for my whole life and I have spent so much money that it is staggering. I am the poster child for high tech dentistry, “sophisticated dentistry” as one guy said.
If I didn’t get the luck of the draw with genetics in this regard, I truly feel lucky that I live in New York City so I have been able to find truly excellent dentists, that the technology has advanced to such a degree, and that I am fortunate enough to have been able to pay for it, but it really is mind boggling.
People get bypasses, knee replacements, stents all kinds of crap, cancer treatments, etc. etc. and insurance covers it. But if your health challenge has to do with teeth, you have to pay up out of your own pocket. Re pain, I don’t even care one drop. The pain is financial.
Haha, Scott, true enough. If you knew where I’d worked, you’d know that being sent home early is literally unheard of, and she’s now told me twice, so I’m outta here at 2:30pm
dave, take a later train, meet me at Montero’s, and we’ll have a couple of beers. Or, we can go somewhere on Atlantic and split 4-5 bottles of wine just to kick off the weekend right.
bxgrl, no response to the fact that GE had audited financial statements???
Your comment: ” And I think they are full of sh*t as to the reason. We’re long used to corporations coming up with clever, inventive ways to explain themselves.” sounds a bit lunatic fringe if you ask me.
I always use the same paint in hallways.
No need to guess and you can easily cover scuff marks from tires or hand prints without re-painting the whole wall.

No, Pete, 2,000 bucks is all they will cover. Which for me is nothing.
