Friend of mine has had major work done in Thailand. When I was in costa rica they were pushing dental tourism also. But don’t think I would go that route.
I just think of how somebody trying to support family on median income in this city would be able to pay for procedure I had today full price. Free market – schmee market. hah.
Bfarwell, $2,000 IS crazy. Hey it gets my teeth cleaned, which I am doing all the time to protect my teeth. But there was a time when NOBODY gave dental insurance. I think the low levels of insurance re dentistry is the reason the costs are relatively low compared to medical procedures.

Sort of the costs of routine preventative dr visits versus having heart surgery.
