The real beauty of ipad and iphone is the marketing strategy for Apple. They take much of the control out of your hands, but hey there’s an app for that. Usually with a fee.
apple’s recent dominance is partly due to how stupid and shitty it’s competition has been. I only see HP (among the equipment manufacturers) having any shot against apple
for tablets, one would be a fool to buy anything other than the ipad right now. the App count at the other platforms are pathetic and that’s why the non-ipad unit sales are so so shitty
I agree with Scott about Apple regarding my iPod. I’ve never had an Apple computer, so I can’t speak to that. I love having 5,000 songs on 1 device (beats the Walkman), so no complaints there
But I find it’s useability leaves much to be desired. A lot of features that you would think would be included intuitively are not, and instead you’re required to make many changes by logging in to your PC.
And whoever thought it was a good idea to put the “Genius” button directly below the rewind bar so that you go to rewind a song and instead your iPod stops playing and creates a new playlist you don’t want.
I never liked Apple products either but I must admit that my iPad is pretty neat. If I ever encounter a problem where it won’t let me stray from the basic apple functions, I’ll just get it hacked for like 20 bucks.
yeah – apple is far from perfect and people do complain about them – but no one else has come along and taken the bull by the horns.

I will also say that any company that keep calling it’s software and employees “Genius” is just lame.

If a bald person works as a chef at a restaurant, do they have to wear a hairnet?
