DH, dont forget the mini-bar in your master suite – ie stumbling up those stairs from garden level to master suite is tiresome and dangerous when stoned/drunk
Yes, dona – and as someone remarked of Golda Meir, she probably could type. 🙂
haha…. I bet she could! I read her biography twice. She was always an inspiration to me. I remember how she said when she was upset or nervous about a world event or something that was happening, she would polish her silver kettle.
When I was growing up Northampton Mass was the city, Springfield Mass was the big city, Boston Mass was a major metropolis. No one ever went to New York City. It might as well have been just a legend.
Unbelievable amounts of bottles of beer in my refrigerator
left over from what people brought over to my house for different gatherings (don’t drink beer).
A stray bottle of wine. (brought over to my house and left over from a party).
Jamesons – Have a delicious drink every now and then before I go to bed. Over ice.
re Golda Meir, I meant to say her autobiography…not biography..

If I ever hit the lotto and bought a brownstone – the whole garden level would be a bar. bars rule
Here is my home bar:

if you’re feeling fancy you could swing into the new restaurant Ma Peche on 57th in the Chambers Hotel
I find that basement bars tend to be underused M4L. A liquor cabinet in the kitchen is sufficient. Next project is stripping and re-painting the deck.
And we’re getting our couches soon, which means then it’s time to paint the walls in the living room.
